Job Description

Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a consultant in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine to fill a newly created 10 PA post. This post will primarily based at Sexual Health Hounslow, with the majority of clinical duties taking place at West Middlesex University Hospital, and is initially available for a one year fixed term. The successful candidate will join the team at West Middlesex in providing high quality, innovative and integrated sexual health, reproductive and HIV care to the local population. At present the team consists of 3 other consultants (2.2 WTE), who lead an experienced multidisciplinary team based at the hub and 2 spokes in the borough of Hounslow. They will be expected to manage patients in our busy open access clinics, and support and train medical staff and students, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Weekly teaching and training sessions taking place at Chelsea and Westminster on Wednesday mornings, which the postholder will be expected to attend. They must be on the GMC's Specialist Register for Genitourinary Medicine, or within six months of receiving their CCT.
