an exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside Do you have an interest in Diabetes? Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people with diabetes across Tayside? We are seeking a dietitian to work as part of the Tayside Dietetic Diabetes Team which provides a clinical service in secondary care for people in Tayside living with diabetes. Experience of Diabetes in a previous role is desirable but not essential. The post holder will be expected to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams taking a pro-active approach in the clinical care of patients and be involved in developing and implementing standards of best practice. He/she will provide services across Tayside. Excellent working relationships exist with dietetic colleagues throughout NHS Tayside via the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service and the Tayside Nutrition Network to develop and implement evidence-based practice, receive peer support and help to progress Continuous Professional Development. There is also a commitment to training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals. Excellent inter-personal and communications skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.
