Platforms Partnerships Director SWIFT's platform ecosystem is seeking to enable a wide array of partners. From Business Application Providers to Digital Banking enablers and FinTech builders. SWIFT power cross-border payments for a large and growing number of software platforms that can enhance their value propositions and grow their businesses using SWIFT's capabilities and global reach of more than 10.000 institutions. SWIFT's Platform Partnerships Squad (SPPS) accelerates the growth and innovation of SWIFT's services by driving new business opportunities through partnerships. We identify, build, develop and strategically manage relationships with Partner Companies, and architect solutions both from the technical, operational, and business model perspectives, that can help grow and evolve SWIFT's business. About the role This role will be accountable for the execution of forward-looking plans for SWIFT and sub-sets of Platform Partners. The right candidate will have Strategic partnership and BD experience, but will also have a heavy background in Product & Platform management experience. She/or/he will be able to handle technical conversations with product teams, lead commercial partnership negotiations, and drive process changes (Product Readiness, operational, risk, legal, etc) necessary with internal teams to enable partnerships. Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute partnerships. This includes driving internal process enhancements to facilitate partner enablement Acquire (source, negotiate, close) and manage new strategic platform partnerships, leveraging industry experience to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, and needs to inform business processes, partnerships, and the product roadmap. Grow relationships and expand strategic opportunities with existing partnerships, by Managing and nurturing established relationships to enable our partners' success, increase the adoption of SWIFT's services, and execute upon SWIFT's overall platform strategy Support projects to Productize, build, manage and continuously enhance technical infrastructure and programs to support Partnerships at scale (including partner portals, commercial models, legal frameworks, etc) Communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of constituents, particularly in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal, as well as with external partner executives. Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and identify both new areas of focus or existing areas that can be improved across our partner ecosystem Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience in Business Development and Product Development for Payment, Banking or Financial Technology Companies. Platform Development Experience highly preferred. Experience with partner management, agreement negotiations, and strategy and operations. Strong Knowledge of Payments and Fintech Industry ecosystem, operational and business models. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of payments industry players existing and emerging products and services. Experience with API development or implementation both for internal and external stakeholders. Analytical ability to drive strong commercial outcomes for both Stripe and our partners Expertise developing business cases, financial analysis and modeling, and familiarity legal agreements Ability to manage cross-functional projects and multitask with excellent organizational skills Experience defining business and product metrics and using those metrics to drive decisions Effective executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership, both externally and internally.
