I am working in partnership with a top-tier bank as they look to recruit experienced Business Analysts into their growing 'Change Management & Business Change'. The roles are newly released, key in their 2020 growth plans and represent an excellent opportunity for ambitious individuals who want to take the next step in their career. The roles are part of a huge internal digital transformation program around their retail banking, payments and fraud departments and the business are in the middle of a huge journey focused around cloud & automation, using technology as a way of supporting their forward-thinking mindset. The Business Analyst roles are crucial to that journey, acting as the catalysts for change and some of the key duties and responsibilities expected are listed below: Role & Responsibilities * You will be expected to work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) throughout the full delivery lifecycle. This will also include liaising with c-level stakeholders for more senior applicants. * You will be expected to help drive the use of Agile methodologies as the organisation continues their journey towards becoming more Agile across the board. * You will be expected to recommend areas for change and then support the business as that change develops. Your role will focus heavily on continuous improvement. * Finally, you will be expected to collaborate with all parts of the business (plus 3rd parties), acting as an 'Internal Consultant'. In terms of their expectations, they are ideally looking for applicants (i.e. you!) to demonstrate knowledge and experience with the following: Skills & Qualifications * Proven experience working in the Digital space, ideally driving home cutting edge technology projects in areas including Big Data, Software Engineering, Cloud and ERP/CRM technologies. * Solid experience with Agile methodologies, ideally with experience using tools such as MS Project, JIRA and Confluence. Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce) is also beneficial. * Wider knowledge of Waterfall methodologies, including experience using hybrid Agile/Waterfall approaches. * Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Any leadership experience, including experience managing other Business Analysts. * Any experience working in either the Financial Services or Banking space, including areas such as Retail Banking, Payments, Mortgages & Lending, Mobile Banking and Fraud.
