Job Description

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to work at a senior managerial level within the Finance Department of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG. The post holder will be responsible for reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance to provide high level expert finance support contributing to the delivery of the CCGs statutory financial duties and financial advice to the commissioning of healthcare contracts, supporting the negotiation of contracts and subsequent monitoring and reporting of the financial aspects of contracts. The post holder will have responsibility to ensure that budget holders and senior managers are aware of the CCGs financial position, financial impacts of decisions and support the development of robust Transformation/QIPP schemes. The post holder will also support the Deputy Director of Finance in the development of the CCGs financial strategy and financial aspects of the organisations planning. The post holder will also be responsible for the day to day management Acute Contracts Finance team in accordance with CCG HR policies & procedures, responsible for appraisals, sickness absence, disciplinary matters, recruitment and selection and workload allocation.
