An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Leadership Team within the central Norfolk Youth Service as a Band 7 Community Team Manager. This service works with young people between the ages of 14 and 25 who are experiencing complex mental health difficulties. We are seeking a skilled and experienced manager of clinical teams, who ideally will have experience of working with young people and adults and has either management or leadership experience. We are keen to hear from you if you do not hold a professional registration, what's important to us is you have proven leadership experience. This role will provide leadership and role modelling to the members of the Youth Service ensuring that the service provided is high quality and person-centred. There will be the opportunity to be involved in the developments of the Youth Service, and to ensure that young people receive the right mental health support at the right time. The post-holder would join a clinical leadership team which includes: Psychiatrists; Clinical Psychologists; Clinical Team Managers and Operational Managers who are working together with service user representatives to develop a more needs led responsive service for the local population. This is an exciting time for Youth Mental Health Services and our Service is at the forefront of these developments having recently been show-cased at an NHS England workshop as one of only two existing young mental health services working within this age range in England. We are also working with our partners in social care and primary care as part of our local transformation program to improve all services for children and young people. There are strong research links both locally with UEA, nationally and internationally with staff from our service presenting at the International Youth Mental Health Conference.
