Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. Job Description Twiddling your thumbs in the evenings and at weekends with nothing to do? Are you looking for rewarding work? How about helping our clients live well at home in these difficult circumstances? You can put a smile on the face of those who need it most! We are looking to recruit CAREGivers who are passionate about supporting local people to remain independent in their own homes by providing companionship and personal care as well as assisting with all over aspects of daily living in the Bispham, Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Blackpool areas. We can offer you between 10-16 hours mainly in the evenings between 4pm and 8pm, to include two weekends a month. You will need to offer availability between these times and extra hours are also available during weekdays and weekends. Means of transport is essential to accompany clients to appointments or social activities. Sound good so far? However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
