Job Description
First Achieve's Engineering division are working with a successful family run company, who due to continued investment and growth are seeking a Technical Estimator. Candidates should have experience of a busy workshop environment having bid on small and large Fabrication projects for the offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be computer literate and have excellent communication skills. Candidates will be required to oversee their successful projects from initial bid through manufacture to delivery therefore a great deal of job satisfaction is achievable. Whats on offer: * 39hr week * Mon-Fri * Salary £35k - 50K per annum The Candidate: * Should have experience Estimating on Structural & Fabrication Projects for the offshore market. * You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to go the extra mile. You will be liaising with Customers online and face to face. * You must have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and identify how best to manufacture items from drawings and available processes within the business. * You should have the ability to choose the most efficient materials and have the technical skills to identify the best use of onsite machinery to carry out jobs * Candidates should be experienced in using manufacturing software to create parts and assemblies and create quotes. Ideally the correct person will be conscientious and show drive to deliver quality products on time to our customers.
