Job Description

Role Summary: Baker Hughes, has a new opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Wellbore Intervention (WBI) team in Aberdeen, UK Essential Responsibilities: + Provide skilled level support for all Wellbore Intervention services, with particular focus on either Conventional Fishing or Thru Tubing Intervention applications. + Develop technical solutions for customer wells involving Wellbore Intervention services. + Ensure flawless execution of assigned projects. + May be required to go offshore for special projects / requirements. + Assist in investigations into unexpected or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actions. + Develop commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries. + Promote Wellbore Intervention products and services to existing and new customers. + Promote introduction of new technology into the market. + Handle special projects as assigned. + Assist in collaborative projects within CWI and Fullstream Opportunities. + Promote the Baker Hughes Values within the Wellbore Intervention group, the wider Baker Hughes team and externally. + Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal compliance requirements. Qualifications/Requirements: + Significant related experience. + Strong technical knowledge in at least one of the main swimming lanes within Wellbore Intervention (Fishing Services or Thru Tubing Intervention) + Must have strong team working and communication skills. + Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering preferred. Desired Characteristics: + Thorough understanding of downhole mechanics, hydraulics and rig operations. + Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products. + Good problem solving skills. + Good organisation skills, being able to prioritise tasks under pressure and time constraints.
