Sales / Business Development Director - US Competitive Compensation Package + Stock Options US based. (Must be US national or legal resident) We are MishiPay, a ground-breaking retail tech startup that's rejuvenating the high street by improving the way people shop. Our technology allows in-store shoppers to use their mobile phone to scan and pay for their shopping, then simply exit once payment is complete. This means shoppers no longer have to visit a conventional checkout and wait in line for service. Our clients include some of the world's largest retailers including Decathlon, PicwicToys, Eroski, Dufry and many more. We are looking for a high achiever. A charismatic, energetic natural salesperson to join our hugely talented team. You'll be US-based but willing to travel within the US regularly to meet with key retailers. The role will have responsibility for the convenience stores and grocery sectors and therefore having industry knowledge of these markets is key so that you are able to hit the ground running. We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge of technology that is applicable in this area such as ERP, POS and back-office systems used by these retailers. You'll be a self-starter, ambitious and keen to succeed, and your achievements will speak for themselves. We'll offer a great commission structure, competitive base salary and ultimately the chance to make a huge impact. About The Role This role will initially be new business development. You will: * Plan an achievable and realistic Sales strategy and target client list. Because you'll be so aware of the market, you'll be able to suggest and approach the most receptive retailers. * Reach out to retailers of varying sizes and channels across the US. You'll develop innovative and exciting ways to develop partnerships in order to drive significant revenue and top-line sales. * Manage new retail clients through all aspects of the Sales cycle, together with other members of the team. * Attend regular client visits. * Provide competitor and market insights and analysis in order to align future customers to our retail strategy. * Negotiate pricing and margins to maximize our growth & analyze ROI to demonstrate the viability & sustainability of our product. * Implement and develop internal 'best practice' sales processes. * Represent and tell the MishiPay story at external events, shows & conferences. * Attend regular Sales update meetings, providing forecasts, relevant reports & updates, highlighting risks and issues as they occur. * Liaise with our internal Finance function to monitor budgets & timescales. About you: * Your incredible Sales track record will be within leading-edge startup tech businesses. Your experience will be in SaaS, fintech, payments, or similar. * An understand what it means to work in a growing startup - or have experience in working in the high growth phase of a business. * Your experience will include the following: * Strong and insightful knowledge and experience that'll help us align our Sales and delivery strategy with the right retailers and ultimately, consumers. * An innate ability to identify and follow up opportunities. You'll have attended trade shows, external events and conferences and built significant revenue through a multitude of Sales channels. * Production of detailed Sales proposals & presentations. You'll have presented to senior-level execs, & be able to utilize your energy, charisma & communication skills to engage with new & existing customers at all levels. * Experience within an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment and an ability to think on your feet at all times. * Compilation of relevant project reports, budget management & forecasting. * Ability to lead at Sales meetings in order to share information and ensure project consistency and transparency. Personal Attributes: Great attention to detail, customer-focused, positive, influencing and engaging. Highly numerate & IT literate, with impeccable spoken and written language skills. You'll be able to utilize MS Office to a high level, and maintain sales related CRM systems. Tenacious, energetic and diplomatic, an ability to converse internally and externally in a respectful, professional manner, and contribute to the MishiPay Sales strategy and our targets. Problem solver and troubleshooter & definitely a team player. Understands the culture of a startup and is passionate & committed.
