Job Description

**Background:** The EMEA LRR Governance Team is part of the EMEA Controllers organization. The team support the EMEA Franchise Controller with the governance of Local Regulatory Reporting "LRR" across 55 countries in the EMEA Region and operate through two key strategic locations, London and Budapest. The team's main responsibility is to provide oversight and to ensure that both consistent LRR governance and control frameworks are applied across the EMEA region. **Job Purpose:** This role will primarily focus on driving the LRR governance model across the EMEA Region in line with Citi Policies and Regional standards. An essential part of the profile will be extending support to the Material Legal Entities (MLE) by working closely with Controllers. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for working closely with countries to support and provide LRR oversight and ensure consistent governance frameworks are applied. + Responsible for timely escalation of issues related to non-compliance with local regulatory requirements, Citi policies and Regional standards which would impact LRR. + Support Quarterly Regulatory Reporting Governance Committee "RRGC" process, review and challenge cluster/country RRGC results. + Consolidate and present quarterly Regional RRGC themes to EMEA Controllers Management. + Support EMEA LLR Reporting Lead on LRR Gold Copy ARCM and help countries with implementation by providing timely advice. + Contribute in the Global policies revision and annual refresher of Regional LRR guidelines. + Represent the Regional LRR Governance team on various committees and forums. + Provide input to standardised LRR Key Performance Indicators which allow EMEA Controllers Management to have the required visibility and transparency on the LRR environment across EMEA. + Identify and provide inputs to improve governance process for the MLE's. + Identify and define the scope of the areas where digital tools can be applied for monitoring and governance. + Partner with CSC in the execution of technology strategy across the Region. + Liaise with Internal Audit to ensure a strong partnership between Internal Audit and Finance + Develop strong relationships with country Finance teams to establish robust ongoing dialogue and ensure good understanding of the functional areas. + Possesses strong project management, make sound decisions and exhibit initiative and intuitive thinking. **Qualifications:** + 6 to 10 years of relevant experience. + An individual with strong communication skills, both written and oral, attention to detail and the ability to meet reporting and project deadlines. + Strong interpersonal skills in being able to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across a number of disciplines, and a wide range of countries. + Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements + Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views. **Education:** + Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master's degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
