Tele-opHthalmology-enablEd and ARtificial Intelligence-ready referral pathway for coMmunity optomEtry referralS of retinal disease'. The HERMES study is looking for an outstanding research project manager with a proven track record in Ophthalmology who is interested in working on this challenging and exciting new project funded by NIHR HTA. This is an opportunity to play a central role in a large multi-disciplinary, multi-centre research programme which aims to transform the way patients with retinal disease are referred from community care to hospital-based eye units. The work and its co-ordination will be complex and pressured. The role will suit someone with energy, enthusiasm, confidence and excellent organisational skills. The post will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months. During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed. The probationary period may be extended. Or your employment terminated either during or at the end of the probation. This will be in line with the Probationary Policy. For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with the contractual obligations on either side.
