Job Description
an exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside An opportunity has arisen within the Substance Misuse Service based in Perth City but covering Perth and Kinross for a band 6 NMP or training post initially at Band 5 but rising to a Band 6 on successful completion of the Non Medical Prescribing course at level 11. At Interview you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility and skills for acceptance and successful completion of training at Level 11. The service holds clinics through-out Perth & Kinross, works in collaboration with the Perth & Kinross Council Drug and Alcohol Team and is part of the Integrated Health and Social Care Locality team. The post holder will work as an independent practitioner; have knowledge, skills and competence to manage individual patient consultations within a legal and ethical framework and within agreed boundaries and protocols in line with clinical governance and professional accountability.
