Job Description

Linq Healthcare are currently working with a charity based in Lancashire who are looking for a Non Medical Prescriber to join their organisation a permanent basis. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and take the lead on initiating and reviewing prescribing for a variety of clients with substance misuse issues, working within the organisations clear formulary as well as your own competencies. You will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach with service users, enabling them to work on their own recovery capital and supporting them to move into long term recovery. This will be achieved by delivering appropriate clinical interventions, using a range of approaches and working effectively with partner agencies. Support includes: * ½ day CPD time allocated each week to support your professional development * Monthly supervision with a Clinical Lead * Monthly clinical supervision * Monthly team meeting * Monthly attendance (on a rota) to the NMP Forum to meet with colleagues from other services and share experience and discuss best practice.
