VICE x Team Based in our London office, the Finance department is a newly centralised shared services team for EMEA who play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group. Role x You As our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the monthly management accounts for VICE UK, VICE Studios and Edition Worldwide Limited, including cost accruals, accrued/deferred revenue and associated journals at month end. You will be supporting our UK Controller who is based in London. Responsibilities * Produce the monthly management accounts for VICE UK Ltd, VICE UK Studios and Edition World-Wide including cost accruals, accrued/ deferred revenue & associated journals at month end * Produce and submit monthly/quarterly reporting within deadlines to EMEA Regional Team including detailed analysis and commentary on variances * Reporting across multiple lines of business, including productions, professional services, digital activation and events * Client and Project Accounting this includes review, set up and activation of projects in NetSuite. Liaise with Project managers and FP&A for calculation of revenue/cost estimates by project for Month Close, including supporting information needed * Reviewing with Production Accountants to track delivery and calculating costs of completion * Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including deferred revenue/expenses, payroll, other liabilities GL's etc. * Weekly cash flow submission, liaising with the Accounts Payable and Receivables team * Maintenance of intercompany loan schedule with other group entities * Fixed Assets Ledger maintenance, including review of system depreciation calculations, impairment testing, disposals and reporting * Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual Office of National Statistic returns * Support the UK FC in delivering the year-end audit (Group & Statutory) Experience * You are a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years of PQE experience in management accounting and financial analysis (production accounting is a plus) * Ideally, you would have worked in production or the digital media sector * You will have experience in business partnering and communicate with finance & non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately for all International regions * You possess strong Excel and system skills You will have these * You will need to be highly organised, meticulous, hands-on and detail oriented. * Capable of working independently without being micro-managed.
