Job Description
Two Research Assistants are required for a new MRC funded study investigating to investigate therapeutic targets to ameliorate intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder associated with chromosomal rearrangements at 16p11.2. Research Assistants will report to the research lead in Manchester, Professor Jonathan Green, and the rest of the study team. Applicants are expected to have a degree in psychology, speech sciences or another related field, or have equivalent experience, along with experience conducting clinical/research assessments with young children, preferably with autism. Applicants for this role should have the ability to travel independently of the public transport system. Both roles will be full time positions, commencing the 1st July 2020 for a period of 16 months. Note: Both posts are suitable for a job share.
