Location Wakefield Salary 35,481 - 38,619 per annum Role Profile Attachment Digital Supply Chain Software Asset Manager Role Profile.pdf - 151KB Job Advert THE FOLLOWING VACANCY HAS BEEN ADVERTISED EXTERNALLY Digital Supply Chain Software Asset Manager Digital Policing Directorate - IT Digital Innovation Wakefield Permanent Post 1 full time post (37 hours per week) West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Digital Supply Chain Software Asset Manager to join the Digital Supply Chain Team within the Digital Policing Directorate based in Wakefield. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of all aspects of software asset and licence management for the department including discovery, tracking, reporting, auditing, compliance, renewal, financial management and disposal in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs. You will take the lead role in tracking and governing all procured software and associated licences to ensure full contractual compliance. You will engage with our licensing vendors to facilitate audits establish best practice and understand upcoming changes and how these will affect our licence position and future strategy. You will establish an effective licence position and establish future renewal plans based on industry best practice and best value to our organisation. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a Software Asset Management role and can demonstrate an understanding of different licence entitlements within a complex IT environment. You must also have degree level qualification in business, IT systems or equivalent experience and hold a full current UK/European driving licence and have the ability to travel for business purposes.
