An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager on a permanent, full time basis at our Head Office in Huthwaite, Notts. Whilst this is a full-time position in it's own right, part of your duties will be to cover (on a part-time basis), another employee due on maternity leave. The main responsibilities will include the development and implementation of the development of a supply chain strategy to support our growing Highways and Power and Industrial Businesses; working in the central Procurement Team to draft and implement Group-wide Procurement improvements including category planning, supplier relationship management. This will include the following activities: What you'll be doing day to day * Developing and Implementing Supply Chain strategies in nmcn's growing businesses * The development and implementation of supply chain management strategy at Group level * Working with Divisional Teams to assess opportunities for leveraged & consolidated supply base * Working with Divisional Teams to develop, implement and monitor group purchasing agreements * Developing internal frameworks to drive added value * Developing bespoke KPIs and collaborative commercial agreements with suppliers * Developing, implementing and reviewing various procurement models * Commodity price analysis tracking * Working and collaborating with clients and peer organisations to drive added value & efficiency.
