The Role We are seeking experienced and qualified Associate Lecturers to support students on this level 2 module which provides a broad grounding in business and management practice and study. On this module, students explore how organisations work by looking at their internal functions (operations, finance and marketing) and how these are integrated together in a global context. Supported by Associate Lecturers, and using a blend of text, audio video and interactive online activities, students develop vital skills for study and for work in business, public or voluntary sector organisations. Particular attention is paid to developing critical thinking skills. Students are also introduced to mind mapping as a potential technique to help express their ideas and creativity. The role holders are responsible for delivering the module materials utilising both asynchronous and synchronous tools and facilitate online and face to face tutorials. Associate Lectures are expected to provide individual support where required, providing formative feedback as well as mark summative assessments and offer comprehensive feedback. Requirements Your experience * You are likely to have either a minimum first degree in Business Studies, OR a non-business degree plus a post graduate qualification in a business related subject. * Provide evidence of experience in teaching and/or coaching adults (substantial coaching, facilitation and training experience in the workplace will be considered as an alternative to formal teaching * Relevant experience in, or understanding of, using synchronous and asynchronous online media in a teaching and learning environment.
