Description WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR As a Sales Manager at Ripjar, you will be working with our leading edge-technology providing solutions which help combat financial crime into our client base across Europe. You'll be a self-starter with a proven ability to build a sales pipeline and close business. You like to stay informed on market trends and look for ways to leverage into opportunities - a characteristic of our sales team to ensure we outpace the field. We would expect you to have experience within the Financial Services market and the genuine ability to understand your customers problems. You'll need to be adept at communication and like the challenge of working in an ever-evolving marketplace. Responsibilities: * Generate new direct leads through inbound and outbound sales activities. * Present Ripjar favourably and in a structured professional way. * Create detailed proposal documents as part of formal bidding processes. * Develop and maintain detailed Account Plans demonstrating an understanding of the prospective client and their buying cycle. * Maintain existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities. * Proactively assess, clarify and validate potential customer needs on an ongoing basis. * Organise customer events, including customer sales presentations. * Negotiate contracts with prospective customers. * Support Sales and Marketing efforts to monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, sales messaging, etc. * Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. * Work closely with Strategic Partners as part of sales engagements. Requirements * Minimum 3 years' direct data, services or software selling experience aimed within the financial services market, preferably within the areas of financial crime and compliance. * Experience working with Director Level stakeholders and decision makers. * Results driven and proven track record of over achievement against sales targets. * Ability to work within a team orientated and innovative environment. * Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal professional communication skills. * Self-driven, highly motivated and independent contributor. * Understanding of sales cycle with ability to work towards and achieve targets. * It would be an advantage to have an active network within the area of financial crime and have knowledge of relevant regulations and industry trends. * Proven negotiator, positive attitude, self-initiative. * Effective time management. * EMEA Travel. * London based.
