Care UK is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplined team at HMP Guys Marsh. What will you be doing?... You will be required to work with the lead psychiatrist and senior psychologists within care UK to identify appropriate group interventions and develop the necessary materials for other professionals to be able to deliver these programmes. You will also be asked to provide support to professionals delivering these groups and where necessary modify them based on feedback. What we need from you to do the job? .. You will have experience of working in primary and secondary care settings including clinical experience with a full range if mental disorders. You will be able to independently provide specialist psychological assessments of patients referred to the team based, upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care. What will you be doing?.. You will be providing consultation, support and supervision to integrated mental health staff in the delivery of psychological interventions, both individual and group-based. You will be required to contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile and be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals and groups, within and across teams employed individually and in synthesis, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses. Benefits and Salary... The salary range for this role is up to 45,000 per annum - FTE -dependent on experience. This is a Part -time position covering 15 hours per week with flexible hours to suit the right applicant.
