Job Description

Are you a receptionist looking for more than a meeting and greeting position? You will already be a receptionist and enjoy the traditional side of the role - meeting and greeting visitors, answering incoming calls in a professional manner etc. You will be seeking a new front of house opportunity where you will be part of a large team, working in a centrally based modern office. A professional organisation in the centre of Bristol are keen to appoint a friendly, bubbly, smart receptionist on a full time permanent basis. Working within a team of six, the role will rotate in terms of the duties you undertake, so one week you maybe sat in the main reception area, the next you maybe manning the switchboard office. Then you may be asked to work in the concierge office, booking taxis' for staff at the Bristol office. The firm also have many meeting rooms and like a receptionist to manage these rooms at all times. These rooms can be found on a sperate floor to the main reception desk and you will be kept busy by making sure all meeting room equipment is set up (training will be given), coffee machines are switched on, liaise with the catering team regarding timings of refreshments, plus meet and greet any meeting room users as they enter the rooms prior to their meeting. There may also be some involvement with the events team, helping out at corporate onsite events. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a prestigious reception role. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working as a team to offer outstanding service to anyone visiting the clients office or calling into speak to a member of staff. You will already be a receptionist, who ideally has switchboard experience - all background/industries will be considered. You will be an excellent communicator and have fantastic interpersonal skills. Hours of work will be 37.5 per week - Monday to Friday rotated between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
