Global Sales Force EffectivenessAnalytics Lead The global sales force effectiveness analytics lead will find new and exciting ways to drive the business forward through the power of data. This role is within the Commercial Data Analytics and Insights organization. This team is focused on bringing together data and technology capabilities to allow for the organization to become data driven in every decision to drive revenue and growth. As the Sales Force Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for what is delivered on your specific data driven products & services, with a keen focus on streamlining strategic decision information, uncovering new opportunities and automating insight automation and commercial execution across the sales force ecosystem. In this role, you will: * Lead and collaborate with others in GSK in discovery, development, scaling of sales analytics, sales operations and SFE projects to be leveraged by global business units and local markets. * Drive the implementation of the end to end solutions from concept through development and deployment lifecycle; including budgeting, project management, problem solving and strategizing with business partners. Core Requirements: * Consult with markets, regions, and leadership on defining the key business questions to be answered with analytic and then pulled through for measured value. * Develop and evolve core SFE analytics packages in support of rational decision-making with a keen focus on automation and simplification of information management. * Create a quantified view of the market opportunity and leverage comprehensive analyses to optimize sales capacity and territory coverage * Set global KPI standards and develop dashboards for sales leadership, providing them with actionable insights in regards to forecasting, field productivity, customer activity and capacity and headcount planning * Partner with various business & sales strategy and execution teams, internal data dev ops teams as well as with 3rd party vendors to design, develop, and scale these capabilities. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: * Experience in developing and deploying core Sales Force Effectiveness & Enablement analytics packages in support of rational decision-making with a keen focus on automation and simplification of information management. Inclusive but not limited to: * Sales Force Effectiveness, Sales Analytics, Call Planning, Targeting, Segmentation, Predictive Modeling, Territory Alignment, Sales Sizing & Structure, and Promo Response studies * Entrepreneurial flair to understand the business issues in the market and to develop relevant data products to meet demand * Extensive experience for in the acquisition, exploitation and management of enterprise data assets and 'products' in a large, complex organization * Ability to analyze complex situations and to derive workable actions - identify, prioritize and weigh options and recommend a value-add solution * Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm * Strong relationship building skills and executive presence * Excellent management skills, coupled with exceptional judgment and tact * Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams * Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change * Ability to effectively work across the various Markets/Brands to gather requirements and gain consensus * Manage projects and influence resources across DevOps, data governance and product management to execute the charter of the Commercial Data Analytics and Insights * Effectively coordinate with a large number of internal stakeholders where there will be influence but not authority * Works independently under minimal guidance with regular alignment with management teams * Provides formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential. * Delivers results through others, leveraging the ability to lead through influence - performance measured on outcomes * Excellent written and verbal communication Other Requirements: Moderate travel & Flexibility in working hours to accommodate workload and multiple time zones, as needed You have: * Extensive experience working in Data & Analytics (preferably with data tech stack & pharma commercial space) * Experience in product management and product development & project delivery experience * Prior work experience in any of the following: Sales Force Effectiveness, Sales Analytics, Call Planning, Targeting, Segmentation, Predictive Modeling, Territory Alignment, Sales Sizing & Structure, and Promo Response studies * Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercial model, data sources, platform and channels * An end-user, customer-first mindset open to changing requirements and complex solutions * Statistics/ML experience a plus but not required * Problem solving and multi-tasking ability in a
