Job Description
Fostering Social Worker A Fostering Service in North London is looking for a Qualified Social Worker with a background in Family Placement (Fostering, Adoption, LAC) to join them on a permanent basis. The position offers a very manageable case load of 8 fostering house holds that are mainly based in North & East London. This Service is part of a well regarded Therapeutic Fostering Agency that has an excellent reputation for creating good or outstanding outcomes with OFSTED. They offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 (inc car allowance), scope to progress your career and up to 35 days annual leave. As a Supervising Social Worker joining the service your duties will include: * Providing support and supervision to a case load of foster carers * Completing Initial Visits * Completing Form F Assessment/Form F updates To be considered for this position you must be a Qualified Social Worker with the ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Fostering Regs, National Minimum Standards and Safeguarding. You must have excellent communication skills; being able to build strong relationships with foster carers but also challenge them when needed. As travel is an integral part of the role having access to your own vehicle is essential.
