Band 5 Nurses Phoenix Ward is a QED accredited service, rated as 'Good' by the CQC in September 2019. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic staff nurses (including newly qualified nurses) to be part of our team on Phoenix Ward. The ward is a 20 bedded unit for the care and treatment of females and males aged 18 and above who have eating disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and training in this interesting and specialised area of mental health care. A tailored training programme on caring for patients with eating disorders is provided, as well as training in psychological interventions and physical health interventions. This nursing role on Phoenix Ward is ideal for someone who is motivated and is inspired to instill positive change. We will support you to develop as a professional nurse, with opportunities to participate in quality and service improvement initiatives, and support you with NMC revalidation. Phoenix Ward is part of the comprehensive eating disorder service provided at St Ann's Hospital through Specialist Services at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. St Ann's Eating Disorder Service also comprises a large outpatient department, which provides care and treatment to those with eating disorders in North Central and North East London, and a day programme.
