Specialist Clinical Psychologist, Tower Hamlets Community Neuro Team Location: Mile End Hospital (travel within Tower Hamlets required) Reports to: Lead Clinical Psychologist, Tower Hamlets Community Neuro Team Responsible to : Professional Lead, Clinical Health Psychology Pay Band : Band 7 Job Purpose To provide specialist neuropsychological assessment and psychological therapy to adults presenting with acquired and long-term neurological conditions. To also contribute to services provided within Tower Hamlets by Clinical Health Psychology. To offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to non-professional carers. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service. To contribute as a member of Clinical Health Psychology to the development of effective and appropriate psychology services for people who are undergoing treatment in relation to neurological conditions and / or physical impairments.
