About the Role As the business and team grow and expand, we are in the lookout for a Performance Marketing Lead with strong paid search credentials who is determined to grow the business with us. You will be working very closely with the different channel managers, from SEO, to affiliates, to programmatic media, and managing a team of two. We work in a very dynamic environment where change is the constant and new exciting projects come up all the time: you will need to be able to identify patterns and opportunities, think at scale and prioritise tasks by their impact on business goals. This role reports to our Global Marketing Director, and there is potential for professional development as the team grows further. With campaigns covering multiple languages and regions, your input will be key to get us to the next level of growth and optimisation. Responsibilities * Develop and implement the performance marketing strategy for web and app globally. * Manage paid search budget to maximise commercial impact and monitor results of campaigns versus defined performance objectives. * Audit search marketing functionality against best practice in the industry on a regular basis and define a clear roadmap for optimisation and growth long term. * Expand global coverage and localisation of paid search activity both for web and for app, as we expand our product offering and the territories in which our services are offered. * Review bid optimisation and keyword coverage strategies, and A/B test ad copy and landing pages to drive optimal performance, while taking into account the behavioural nuances of our customers and prospective customers. * Develop a scalable and highly automated set-up to further optimise the marketing investment in performance marketing. * Recruit, train and develop more junior team members and educate the wider business about performance marketing. * Spearhead the launch of any additional martech that may be relevant and provide the vision to future-proof the marketing results. * Work collaboratively with other channel managers and with the measurement team to drive overall team performance that maximises impact on the business. Summary of required experience & attributes * Results-driven, numerical and analytical - stays focused. * Able to identify opportunities and see the bigger picture while retaining strong attention to detail. * Articulate, logical and with good communication skills to translate technical jargon and data into knowledge that is actionable for the wider team, no matter the level of seniority. * Ability to identify patterns and opportunities, think at scale and prioritise tasks by impact on business goals. * Proactive and adaptable self-starter with a 'can-do, hands-on' approach. * Team player yet self-motivated individual, with capacity to motivate others in the team and lead the way when necessary. * Expert and humble, eager to continue learning and to voice and adopt new ideas. * Must be fluent in English, especially written (grammar accuracy is essential). Additional languages (French, Spanish, others) are a plus. * Comfortable using ad scripts and automation tools to drive growth at scale. Experience/Qualifications: * At least 4-5 year's experience in a similar role managing paid search campaigns (search engines and app stores), preferably across multiple countries and/or languages. * Educated to a degree level or higher: highly numerate and able to easily interpret large portions of data to assess marketing campaigns. * Proven results working with Google Adwords, Apple Search Ads and Microsoft Bing - specifically building and optimising paid search campaigns. * Expert understanding of SA360 and excellent knowledge of web and mobile app analytics and attribution solutions. * Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to analyse trends in search data and report back to the business. * Experience with dynamic campaigns, auction-time bidding, retargeting lists and A/B testing.
