Job Description
Pro currently has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Consultant/Specialist to work with a specific Client within our Technical Accounting team. This role is permanent and based in Gloucester. Main Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will be responsible for the performance of the specified Client services within the function area and will have a blend of skills and experience as an insurance and reinsurance SME and technical expert. Responsibilities include: * Delivery of contract profitability * Analysing performance towards SLA's, identifying steps to mitigate delivery issues and escalating to the Client Manager where necessary * Implement decisions made on activities within the team * Service delivery to specified clients * Provide technical training and assistance at times to other members of staff * Identify and escalate any issues impacting current and future business opportunities * Provide meaningful MI and analysis to Client Manager * Resolve issues internally and support resolutions externally Skills and Experience * Awareness of profitability of specified client contract * Ability to work on own initiative * Strong technical (re)insurance knowledge and skills * Excellent working knowledge of London Market systems and procedures * Experience or in depth knowledge of London Market broker systems and procedures * Ability to prioritise team workload to meet deadlines * Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential * Excellent communication skills * Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with Clients and colleagues Pro is a global business and consulting company focused solely on the insurance and reinsurance industries.
