Job Description
GP Generalist Clinical Mentor (GCM) (Year 3) - Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine (ScotGEM) Programme 4 Posts: 3 Tayside Posts & 1 Regional Post for Tayside & Fife Location: Tayside/Fife Fixed Term for 23 months A new opportunity for enthusiastic GPs to join the Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine (ScotGEM) team as a Year 3 Generalist Clinical Mentor (GCM). The core of the ScotGEM programme in year 3 is the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) during which individual students will be hosted for 40 weeks in a general practice. The post holder will be responsible for: supporting GP tutors as a link between GP practice/ NHS Tayside/ the University of Dundee; mentoring and supervising students through their Agents of Change projects; carrying out weekly tutorials and playing a key role in formative and summative assessment. There are four posts vacant with 1 session per week per post.
