Job Description

Purpose of the job The job is primarily to support the on personnel training administration including training & development, recruitment, new starters, overtime and all aspects of the processes associated. Key responsibilities Administration * Maintain the overtime process and report to branch office monthly. * Process holiday forms and report to head office in a timely manner. Keep an up-to-date diary of employee holiday dates. * Ensure that for all staff there are copies of relevant employment and training related documentation linked to their personal record. * Maintain records of employee absences * Complete A2R forms on behalf of the Recruitment Manager * Liaise with relevant managers to track the exit process for leavers and complete an exit interview * Maintain and update training and new starter spreadsheets * Ensure competency forms are completed by line managers for all new staff * Book and maintain induction records via the Datascope website Training & Development Under supervision of the branch training manager. * Assist in all aspects of the training department to ensure quality, timely and compliant production of documentation, filing and administration. * Maintain training records using spreadsheets and other IT systems as required. * Create training records for new starters and existing personnel to BSCU. * Maintain paper based record systems of training, competence and inductions as required. * Assist in the maintenance of competency matrices. * Use a range of IT applications, systems and processes. * Attend relevant external and in-house training courses, as required. * Book Training courses in a timely manner. Experience, knowledge, qualifications & training * The role will require the post holder to have a good working knowledge of English, both written and verbal and to be able produce written reports. * Four GCSE at level "C" or above (or equivalent). One of which must be English * Must adopt the BSCU Drugs and Alcohol policy and enforcement scheme * Mathematics GCSE at level "C" or above (or equivalent) * Candidate must be able to work both individually and as part of a team. * The ability to take and follow instruction and have a flexible approach to work. * Experience or knowledge of administration or HR/Training management through work experience. College or Employment. * Computer and language skills
