Job Description

About us We're an award-winning enterprise software start-up. In 2019 we were recognised as the fastest growing tech company in Scotland, and ranked 19th in the UK overall in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. Our founders saw the potential of AI technology to help people and organisations manage tricky projects at scale. They built Braid, an intelligent planning platform, which helps professional services organisations plan, adapt, and thrive. Our team lives our values, and we're dedicated to making sure our friendly, inclusive environment grows with us. Why we're hiring Implementing Braid can represent a radical change for our customers, involving process, system, and mindset changes. That's why we need multi-talented Business Analysts in our team. As a Business Analyst, you'll work on these implementation projects, deploying Braid to hundreds or thousands of users within very large organisations. You'll be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of what the customer requires to run their business successfully, and to make sure they get it from Braid. You'll work closely with our customers to ensure a smooth roll out of Braid from the initial infrastructure setup, Braid configuration and data migration, right through to training and hypercare. Inside Airts, you'll use the insight you gain from our customers to be their champion and voice, playing a meaningful role in influencing product direction. You'll help us take great ideas and turn them into meaningful stories that can be developed by our Product and Engineering teams. Requirements * Experienced in software implementation and/or IT transformation projects within large organisations; * Multiple years working at a software company or a software/IT consultancy (where customers have been large organisations); * Proven ability to configure software for large organisations to meet their (often complex) business structure and workflow requirements; * A strong instinct for spotting problems, with a reputation for being able to think on your feet and uncover hidden requirements; * Credible and able to influence, so that you can challenge a customer's thinking if they're heading down the wrong path; * Very detail oriented (you almost never miss something!) and able to grasp technical concepts; * Excellent at communicating and relaying information to the customer and from the customer back to our internal teams; * Capable of translating customer-specific and very detailed business requirements into user stories; * Can work independently to run requirements gathering and analysis workshops; * Experienced in data migrations as a part of software implementations, including being able to analyse, interpret and manipulate large data sets; * Experienced at creating training materials and delivering training to system administrators and end users; * Adept at developing strong collaborative relationships with customers, so that you work as one team; * Familiar with agile development, and comfortable relaying technical concepts to our engineers. Bonus points if you have * An interest in the technical aspects of software development and systems integrations; * Worked in a small but fast growing company, and understand the pressures inherent with that; * Experienced projects where winning "hearts and minds" was important; * A desire for fast-paced projects and high pressure environments. What you'll get * At least 1,000 per year to spend on professional and personal development; * Time out of the working week for regular company events, with past events including hiking, go-karting, laser quest; * 33 days holiday per year, 30 of which you can take whenever you like; * Weekly All Hands meeting for inspiration and over-communication, and lunch is on us; * Fresh fruit and healthy snack bars delivered weekly; * NEST pension scheme; * Genuinely nice, smart people as colleagues, who are excited about growing our company. This is your opportunity to really influence how we get things done, and how our product performs. We're doing well, but there's loads more to achieve to keep scaling at the pace we've set. Everyone here is growing personally and professionally as the company grows, so if that sounds good to you, we'd love to hear from you!
