Overview Unmind is transforming mental health in the workplace. We have developed a category-leading digital platform, raised over 10m from top-tier investors, and signed over 40+ global clients - including the likes of John Lewis, British Airways, and Just Eat... but we're just getting started. We have humongous plans -and need lots of help in achieving them- which is why we're looking for an exceptional individual to join as our Head of Product and ensure that we're constantly improving, refining, and expanding Unmind's value proposition as we scale. About Unmind Unmind is a workplace mental health platform. We provide clinically-backed assessments, tools, training, and signposting that anyone can use to proactively improve their mental wellbeing. Our digital platform is beautifully designed, non-stigmatising and globally scalable - helping to create healthier, happier, more human organisations around the world. We grew from 20 to 40 people throughout 2019 and anticipate being 100+ in the next 12-18 months (including our first international hires) based on the incredible appetite, engagement, and outcomes that we're seeing from clients. The Role - Sales Development Manager As our Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Sales Development Team so that we consistently create opportunities with prospective clients all over the world, thus directly impacting on our ability to deliver on our mission; to improve the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world. We're looking for someone who is extremely passionate about delivering the best customer experience, unwaveringly candid, and exceptionally driven. As we continue to scale quickly, the focus and responsibilities of any position can be quite dynamic - but here's how we initially see your skills and passion coming to life at Unmind: * Build: Devise, develop, and deliver a Sales Development strategy that will enable us to scale successfully (both in the UK and in new markets around the world), in a way that authentically aligns with our mission, vision, purpose, and values. This includes everything from hiring, and onboarding, to incentives, career development and on-going training. * Develop: Create playbooks that clearly articulate best practices for building a world-class demand generation engine, ensuring operational and performance excellence across all inbound and outbound activities. * Optimise: Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Unmind's Sales Development strategy, and continue to fine-tune our processes and the technology systems to ensure we are building a best in class department which can cater for our ambitious growth plans. * Nurture: Ensure that our Sales Development team have everything they need to thrive and develop. This team is not only the nurturing ground for those who want to progress into our broader sales team, but given the invaluable transferable skills that will acquire, it will also act as the launch pad into other departments within Unmind. * Collaborate: Create close working relationships with people across the business, with a particular focus on content and product marketing, to continually hone our messaging for both inbound and outbound communications. * Lead: Motivate, coach and mentor the SDRs, whilst holding the team accountable for their targets. We expect the individual to not only lead within their team, but also provide guidance and best practice to shape our broader commercial strategy. Skills and Experience As with any B2B organisation, the success of Unmind depends on every member of our team being professional, amicable, and personable - building strong relationships both inside and outside of the business. Beyond that, our ideal candidate traits for this particular role are: ESSENTIAL: * 2+ years experience managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). * Prior role(s) within a B2B SaaS environment and/or HR Tech. * Strong experience working with relevant Sales Development technology platforms (such as Hubspot, SFDC, Outreach.io, Salesloft, Discover.org, ZoomInfo, Drift etc) * Proven track record of successfully building and developing sales processes, whilst exceeding targets . * Consistently shown to develop team members, ensuring their internal progression into the broader sales team, as well as internal teams outside sales (e.g. Client Success, Product etc). * Track record of success and high achievement in whatever you have turned your hand to. * Articulate communicator, both verbal and written- with the confidence to challenge the status q
