Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Customs & International Trade Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career with our dedicated Global Trade and Customs team, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their Global Trade and Customs challenges and obligations across the unique but ever changing global trade environment. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas Global Trade and Customs affairs. Our team helps our clients manage the movement of goods across international borders, optimise opportunities to secure customs and excise duty savings and plan for the compliance challenges associated with acting as an importer and/or exporter. You'll support our clients with all aspects of Global Trade and Customs matters related to global, regional and domestic projects while working with the wider international Global Trade and Customs PwC network and with colleagues within our Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices. About you * You have at least 5 to 7 years' taxation experience; * You have worked in a tax team, with client facing experience; * You have gained managerial experience * You are organised, a self-starter and an enthusiastic team player; * You are able to work to deadlines; * You are commercially aware; * You want to continue to enhance your technical and other knowledge/skills. Responsibilities As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above * Be involved in the financial management of clients * Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients * Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients * Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team * Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria * Train, coach, and supervise team members * Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Bachelor Degree - Taxation Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) English Travel Requirements 0% Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
