Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Intl Government, Organisations Specialism Enterprise IT Architecture Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary PwC Luxembourg has a strong Technology Consulting Team, advising international and local clients, among them European Institutions, national governments, as well as private companies. We are recognized for our strategic work on Customs IT systems - ranging from strategic studies to the implementation of complex IT systems. As Manager you will: * Provide consulting services and carry our activities such as: * Lead technical feasibility studies of innovative IT solutions in support of customs and/or other public services; * Lead IT transformation projects (e.g. datacentre modernisation, cloud migration, software development lifecyle evolution) in the context of customs IT systems or other public services; * Manage digital transformation and IT modernisation projects, mainly for Customs Administrations. * Proactively engage and team up with clients and their stakeholders (e.g. Customs Administrations, European Commission, Traders, Cargo companies), facilitate workshops, moderate discussions and coordinate different views and needs; * Lead PMO activities, incl. production of deliverables and reports; * Support business development and bidding processes; * Coach, develop and manage team members. Your profile (experienced) * You have graduated with a Master degree in IT, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or other relevant subject; * You have at least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management; * You have experience in the customs domain, at national or at EU level; * Preferred skills: * You have demonstrable practical experience in Software Development Lifecycle, IT infrastructure, DevOps and/or Cloud; * You have additional relevant professional experience in areas such as strategy consulting, change management, process modelling, IT governance; * You are forward thinking and have a point of view emerging technologies and their potential impact on the customs domain (e.g. blockchain); * You have a solid knowledge of the customs domain at EU-level, customs operational processes and a general understanding of the functioning of public sector institutions (particularly EU and/or Luxembourg); * You have strong communication skills, both verbal and writing, in English. Capacity to speak/understand French and/or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset; * You are flexible with travels (on average one mission of three days per month).
