PwC Luxembourg has a strong Industry & Public Sector Consulting Team, advising international and local clients, among them European Institutions, national governments, as well as private companies. As Manager you will: * Provide consulting services and carry our activities such as: * Manage feasibility studies of customs IT applications from a business perspective, through your deep understanding of customs policies, industry needs, processes, information flows, etc.; * Coordinate digital transformation projects in the field of Customs; * Support clients in strategically upskilling staff working in the field of Customs; * Translate business needs into functional requirements; * Perform impact assessments on evolutions in customs regulations; * Define and synthesising strategic, operational, technical and organisational views; * Assess, map, transform and make recommendations to optimise day-to-day customs operations, working methods, processes and organisations. * Proactively engage and team up with clients and their stakeholders (e.g. Customs Administrations, EU Commission, Traders, Cargo companies), facilitate workshops, moderate group discussions and present outcomes; * Lead PMO activities, incl. production of deliverables and reports; * Support business development and bidding processes; * Coach, develop and manage team members. * You have graduated with a Master degree in a relevant subject; * You have acquired practical experience in project management of at least five years; * You have profound knowledge on Customs policies, legislation (e.g. Union Customs Code) and/or international trade; * Preferred knowledge: * You are forward thinking and have a point of view on the future evolution of the customs domain, customs legislation and emerging technologies; * You have a solid knowledge of Customs at the EU-level and a general understanding of the functioning of public sector institutions (particularly EU and/or Luxembourg). * You have strong communication skills, both verbal and writing, in English. Capacity to speak/understand French and/or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset; * You are flexible with travels (on average one mission of three days per month).
