Job Description
Amazon is looking for highly motivated Program Manager for the Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) EU Export Operations team. The AGL EU export operations team is responsible for Logistics Service Provider (LSP) Management, Network Design & Operations. This role is responsible for managing the performance, cost and capacity of a number of EU LSPs who manage Amazon shipments from the UK-EU and EU-UK. The Program Manager will liaise with LSPs on a daily basis to ensure their contractual metrics are met and that they are delivering an excellent service to Amazon customers. Preferential location for this position will be London with a possible opening in Luxembourg Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day performance (on time performance, defect rate, cost per unit) of multiple LSPs. Ensure LSPs perform to the agreed operating standards and that volumes are allocated according to the commercial agreement. Lead Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) with LSPs to address day-to-day performance issues and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's), involving senior management from AGL and LSP organizations, to discuss strategic initiatives Identify at-risk operations and develop/execute contingency plans to minimize service failures. Work closely with the internal stakeholders to troubleshoot defects and optimize processes. Work closely with LSPs to develop plans for Peak periods and provide on-site support where required Support the operational component for new LSP onboarding and product launches that add value for customers and/or Amazon Travel within the EU will be required on at least a quarterly basis.
