Do you think you are up for the challenge? **Business Analyst - Life Science Business Partner** A Business Analyst in the Life Science (LS) Practice provides critical administrative, operational, and analytical support to manage the team and enable it in achieving strategic and financial objectives. The Business Analysis is a member of the LS International Management Team and works closely with leadership, project managers, as well as the finance and legal personnel based both in Europe and the US. **Key tasks include:** LS International Practice & Project Management and Analytics: + Manage and monitor Practice level financial and other key operational metrics + Provide insights and analytics on practice goals and performance, including support for weekly/monthly performance tracking as well as quarterly/annual financial planning and forecasting + Collaborate with project managers in setting up and closing projects, assigning staff and overseeing project finances + Coordinate team staffing across projects + Liaise with finance, legal, and other operational personnel on Practice and project administration matters + Support team contractuals (master service agreements, project agreements) + Track key actions for the management team and organizes management team documentation As a core member of the LS International Management Team, the Business Analyst will also work closely with other members of the Management Team as well as the global LS Operational Team Members to provide an efficient and effective way to manage the business and establish a coordinated approach for broader practice-led efforts, which may include: + Resource Management + Vendor Relations + Knowledge Management + Training **Skills** + Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills + Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently + Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Understanding of basic financial concepts (RBR, margin, etc), the principles of consulting business operations and legal frameworks governing consulting projects is of significant benefit + Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work + Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data + Generally, works in an office environment + Capable of organizing & chairing financial/staffing meetings (and defining/tracking actions arising from those meetings) + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word + Proficiency in Power BI a plus **Additional Requirements** + This position requires successful completion of a background check and employment verification. + The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
