Tower Hamlets CAMHS CAMHS YOT/ Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 7: One full time post (4 session YOT and 6 sessions Specialist CAMHS) Open to Mental Health Nursing (RMN) Can you hit the ground running? Do you have the skill to manage a diverse and dynamic caseload in this diverse and evolving service? Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and Tower Hamlets Youth Offending Team (YOT) are seeking the highest quality team member to work alongside the YOT and Tower Hamlets CAMHS. We have a long established partnership with YOT in supporting a very vulnerable group of Young People with often complex mental health needs. We are committed to providing the very best services for our children and young people, and are certain that someone like you will fit the profile. We are seeking a candidate with flexible, diverse and innovative ways of working within this unique outreach position. As a successful candidate you will be working as part of a specialist and highly skilled multi-agency team, providing reports to support court assessments, specialist forensic oriented assessments, risk management plans and quality therapeutic interventions. You will offer consultation across CAMHS and YOT and provide goal based episodes of care to young people, children and families presenting with a variety of challenges. We are also trialing new methods for being responsive at our single point of entry, including outreach, managing wait times, triage, self-referrals and drop-in, with scope for innovation. In conjunction with partners in commissioning, health, social care and education, we offer an outcome-based service where all provider agencies will work together to provide the highest quality service to our clients. The service embraces continual improvement and the staff and management team have a high degree of enthusiasm for quality improvement. The emotional and behavioral team assesses and treats a variety of children, families & young people in this busy East London CAMHS. The team aims to offer an accessible, flexible, timely and responsive CAMHS input to children, young people and their families, and their referrers. We require good communicators with energy, motivation and enthusiasm; the ability to work with individuals and families with complex difficulties and to work effectively with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency contexts; flexibility of approach; commitment to evidence-based practice; and the pursuit of the highest possible quality of service.
