Finance Manager | Hyper Growth E-Commerce Business | London The client Harmonic are working exclusively with a disruptive e-commerce and logistics business who are backed by a major international player. They are experiencing incredible growth as a result of a change in consumption habits driven by Covid-19. Based in the heart of Shoreditch the business has retained their 'start-up' culture. They are filled with ambitious, incredibly smart people who enjoy having a good time while having a genuine impact on the direction and success of the company. The business model has an ethical angle to it as well offering the chance for the team to be proud of what they are achieving alongside significant growth. Given the exceptional circumstances, while the office is open, they are offering remote working for the foreseeable future and are keen to be flexible for anyone with concerns regarding travel and the physical workspace. The role Reporting to the Finance Director this role will be responsible for running the day-to-day Finance function and establishing a much more engrained Business Partnering support service to the wider business. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for building a team with one hire soon after joining. Given the growth the business is experiencing there are clear progression opportunities to Financial Controller and beyond. * Responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts * Support the Finance Director in the delivery of Group of Financial Reporting and Statutory Accounts. * Provide strategic finance support to the Marketing function (ROI, budgeting, forecasting) * Drive process and efficiency improvements working closely with the Supply Chain teams to ensure EBIT maximisation * Support the Finance Director with the procurement and implementation of new systems * Drive continued process improvement around month-end and financial controls * Train and develop a Management Accountant Required Experience * Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA) * Highly commercial (budgets, variance analysis, forecasting) * Excellent Communicator * Ambitious and Passionate about being part of a scale-up Experience (Preferred) * E-commerce experience * Fast moving supply chain experience * Experience with stock or physical products Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + benefits Start Date: ASAP (Ideally in the next 6-8 weeks) Please note that interviews and onboarding will take place remotely Please get in touch at Please feel free to circulate this with any friends or contacts that may be interested.
