Weir Minerals Europe is part of the Weir Group plc, the business has been established for over 100 years and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, valves, cyclones, vibrating screen machines, crushers and other associated equipment for the mining and minerals processing industries. The company has seen significant sustained revenue growth within the last 6 years. Based in the North West of England we are a well established company that is growing year on year. Our organisation currently has circa 700 employees throughout Europe with over 400 based in Todmorden, which sits on the edge of both Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Purpose of Role The Quality Manager will be part of the Operations Management team and will lead the Quality team, which consists of approximately 10 members. They will be involved in the implementation and leadership of Quality Action Plans Key Responsibilities + You will be responsible for managing the quality management system (ISO9001) + Lead and co-ordinate the Audit process + You will be responsible for managing the non-conformance process (NCR) and will be tasked with eliminating errors for the future. + Implement Quality Management Systems across two sites to meet customer requirements in line with the agreed strategic and business objectives of the Company. + Responsible for maintaining ISO9001:2015 accreditation and reducing the number of customer complaints + Preparing, monitoring and maintaining quality reports + Management responsibility of Quality Technicians and Engineers. + Working with the Operation Managers to improve manufacturing processes and methods.
