We are seeking skilled Machinists to operate both CNC vertical and horizontal turret lathes. This involves machining a variety of components in Chrome Irons and SG Irons, with Fanuc Controls in a medium to heavy environment. Operators will be expected to produce product to the specific requirements and to a high quality standard. As well as able to edit Programs and tool setting. + CNC Machining experience is essential + Have heavy engineering background + Experience of working with castings is desirable + Possess a positive attitude towards modern manufacturing processes + Willingness to adopt lean manufacturing principles + Self motivated + Focussed towards working within a devoted and continuously improving health and safety culture. + Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines. + Flexible to work night shift and work across all three shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) Salary & Benefits + 13.88 per hour and shift premium + 25 days holiday plus 8 days Bank Holiday + Free Parking + Pension Scheme + Employee benefits scheme Company profile Weir Minerals Europe Ltd.
