We are sourcing candidates for the following positions: + Highways Engineer + Senior Highways Engineers + Principal Highways Engineer + Associate Director - Highways The team workload ranges from feasibility studies to scheme designs, working with a variety of clients both from the public and private sector including design & build partnerships with contractors. Current projects being undertaken by our UK&I teams include: + South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA) + North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA). + Midlands Highways Alliance + Morpeth Northern Bypass + N2 Rath to Kilmoon Road Scheme + N4 Mullingar + Smart Motorway Projects + A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet + York St Interchange, Belfast + A6 Randalstown to Castledawson Dualling + M54-M6 Link Road Minimum Requirements We would like to hear from candidates who are able to offer experience and proficiency in two or more of the key areas; + Project management + Alignment design + Drainage design + Pavement design and refurbishment + Signs and road markings design + Safety barrier design + Management of design and delivery of highway maintenance schemes + Experience of preparing for and attending meetings with clients and/or statutory consultees + Experience of working in the Design and Build sector particularly preparing tenders for contractors. Preferred Qualifications Your experience will be the primary aspect that we will consider, however your educational background could be via various routes: BTEC, HNC/HND or degree level For some of our roles we will be looking for people to be Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status (MICE and or MCIHT) or be working towards the qualification.
