Job Description
Operational Data Manager Do youpossess knowledge of relational databases and business intelligence tools, and have experience in data and process management? If so, we are currently looking to recruit an Operational Data Manager to join our Performance team in London. The Performance team is a part of our Human Capital Solutions practice. Our Revenue GPS product is a global quarterly institutional equity performance survey that delivers valuable market and positional analysis to support the account management process and management of a firm's institutional equities platform. This role will sit within the Operations Team, helping to manage the production of the quarterly survey, including ensuring all data is loaded, cleaned, validated, edited, reviewed and signed-off. The role also includes responsibility for coordinating with IT team on operational developments; and supporting the Revenue GPS business. About the Role As anOperational Data Manageryou will be responsible for; Oversight of loading, validation, and processing of client data. Management of quarterly data production processes to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of survey data. Ownership of data integrity, governance and validity. Work with business and IT teams to establish requirements and direct new database, application, and reporting developments. Database query development for data modelling, analysis, and ad-hoc business requests. Support client-facing consultants by providing technical direction and data analysis. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you The successful candidate will have; Educated to degree level or similar, ideally in an analytical subject (engineering, maths, compsci etc.) Experience in project and operational process management. Good understanding of IT development processes, experience with Agile development a plus. Intermediate - Advanced SQL skills including query development, views, stored procedures. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technology stack and tools, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS (knowledge of MDX is a plus). Other technical / programming skills such as .Net / C# is a plus. Strong analytical approach to problem solving with great attention to detail. Must be a process focused individual with the ability to execute. Able to work in fast paced environment collaboratively or autonomously as determined by dynamic projects and workload.
