Job Description
Editec is a successful lottery and sports betting consultancy, supporting clients in over 25 countries across Africa. The company is fast growing, has doubled in size over the last 3 years, and has plans for further expansion. The company is globally recognised as a start-up specialist for gaming operations in emerging markets with 6 offices throughout Europe and the Middle East. The successful applicant will cover the following duties: * Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product * Work closely with the Operations teams in Africa and the Marketing team to ensure releases are planned and supported appropriately * Manage the training and planning of all new products in each of our countries * Spot warning signs of things going wrong and provide a decisive response to significant delivery challenges to Senior Management * Work with the development team so to be able to provide training on our ticket processing machines * Manage the security of all our Lottery draws * Working with local Operation Mangers and IT Managers on the data and security of all Lottery processes and procedures * Identify the main issues in complex problems, clarify understanding or stakeholder expectations * Make difficult decisions by pragmatically weighing the complexities involved against the need to act * Push decision making to the right level within your team, not allowing unnecessary bureaucracy and structure to suppress innovation and delivery * Exemplify positive customer service behaviours and promote a culture focused on ensuring customer needs are met * Get the best out of people by giving enthusiastic and encouraging messages about priorities, objectives and expectations * Contribute toward processes for managing at all levels * Review, challenge and adjust performance levels to ensure quality outcomes are delivered on time, rewarding success * Maintain effective performance in difficult and challenging circumstances, encouraging others to do the same * Seek constructive outcomes in discussions, challenge assumptions, but remain willing to compromise when it is beneficial to progress Requirements Due to many of our largest customers being in French speaking West Africa we can only consider applicants with fluent written and spoken French and English. * Gaming experience is highly desirable * Experience in delivering digital projects and products * Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with multiple countries and characters
