Job Description

We are looking for a talented Analyst to support the Subscription Strategy team in delivering the 3-year subscription revenue growth plan and optimising subscription profit, through regular and detailed analysis and reporting to help ensure all stakeholders are focused on the right priorities. KEY DUTIES: REPORTING: Build and manage a suite of analytical reports to track performance, inform planning and help identify revenue and profit opportunities * Provide regular top line reporting on acquisition and retention performance * Create a reporting system to track key performance indicators such as lifetime value and churn * Interpret the analysis and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders in order to further business knowledge and guide decision making * Use forward planning tools to run scenarios and inform long-term strategic planning * Distil analysis into digestible reports and presentations for communicating plans to the wider business PRICING: Support the team in optimising pricing in line with brand strategy * Run price and proposition modelling to determine market pricing and offer test plans * Feed into the plan to increase subscription pricing in line with cover price increases - driving down discounts to increase profit * Work with the team on the Direct Debit step-up plan to deliver profit growth targets LIFETIME VALUE & RETENTION: Obsess over customer lifetime value to ensure customer retention and the price journey are continuously optimised * Manage lifetime value modelling by brand/channel/offer and create reports to share insights * Assist in the development of enhanced subscription packages to drive engagement and revenue growth * Measure retention strategies and deliver analysis to determine key opportunities and identify efficiencies * Support the optimisation of the renewals series to grow year 2+ revenue and drive down costs AUDIENCE INSIGHTS: Collaborate with the data and research teams to enrich our understanding of our audience * Work to deliver actionable insights to enhance customer targeting and engagement * Identify customer segments for price and offer targeting * Devise surveys to provide guidance on the proposition development and added-value packages * Develop understanding of churn and acquisition propensity modelling to help identify risks and opportunities ACQUISITION PLAN: Assist in developing and refining the acquisition plan to support optimum LTV * Develop understanding of the acquisition channel and offer mix * Track acquisition trends and run rates to feed into the plan * Provide support around acquisition cost management to ensure ROI is optimised ABOUT YOU: * Strong analytical skills * Proficient Excel skills * Experience working within a subscription marketing team * Commercially minded * Excellent attention to detail * Strong presentation skills * Good at building and maintaining internal and external relationships * Strong team player * Enjoys developing and working to clear strategic targets * Thrives under pressure * Professional and mature approach to business * Collaborative NA
