The Opportunity: Cognizant seeks a top-tier professional to partner with our UK and Ireland sales leadership as a trusted business advisor, providing useful insights that will increase focus, detect areas of improvement and risks, and ultimately maximize business performance. This professional will ensure sales leaders and representatives understand key processes, keeping systems up to date, distributing sales targets, supporting sales in understanding the compensation plans, ensuring sales understands their data and key performance indicators. Responsibilities: * Drive Territory/account segmentation and allocation * Lead Quota setting and performance management * Design and track growth initiatives; design corrective actions and gap closure plans * Run sales cadence * Analysis & Insights -identify existing gaps and propose improvement actions that have effect on sales performance. * Compensation - ensure the plan is well understood, serve as a point of contact for questions or disputes, working closely with compensation review boards where applicable * Reporting - ensuring reports reflect reality and impart understanding of the data, risks and impacts. Expertise in BI Tools, such as Power BI and advanced Excel skills are beneficial * Targets - Ensure objective targets are distributed across all sales teams and advise Sales on the insights / understanding * Tools Adoption - Ensure sales teams understand how to use the global sales tools to impact performance and create a culture of operational excellence. Serve as a point of contact for feedback and continuous improvement. Expertise in sales tools such as SFDC and other Sales tools is an advantage Qualifications: * Education: Undergraduate degree; high preference for Masters in Business Administration * Extensive years of experience in multinational, multi-region team management, ability to execute within matrix organizations * Some years of experience in working in sales / sales operations / sales planning / go to market strategy * Knowledge of the Professional Services Industry * Operational credibility proven through experience by working in sales-facing functions * Strong analytical skills - ability to gather and cross check data, arrive at conclusions, and recommend actions that will improve sales performance * Strong communication skills - able to explain processes and tools, adapting communications and approaches to increase awareness and adoption * BI, Sales Force, MS Ofiice, Our strength is built on our ability to work together.
