Senior Care Assistant Parkside House, Reading 8.21 - 10.40 per hour Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional team of carers at our home in Reading. Working Shift patterns and salary * From 8.21 up to 10.40 per hour depending on experience, capabilities and qualifications * Day Shift options: 8am - 8pm * Full time and part time available (minimum permanent contract offered is 12 hours) What you'll be doing * Leading a team of carers, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care * You will promote independence, choice, dignity and respect through the hands on care you deliver to our residents * You will get to know our residents and their families - helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans * Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will be involved in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication * One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of the job you do and build strong relationships with the rest of your team. What you'll need * NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent * Experience working at a Senior level or extensive experience working as a Care Assistant * You will believe in the importance of people's well-being and you are capable of providing support to those around you.
