Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Southampton Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service as a fulltime Health & Wellbeing Nurse (Monday-Friday 9-5). An interest in Substance misuse is essential but full training will be provided to the successful applicant. Your role will be to provide Alcohol Assessments and Health & Wellbeing assessments as part of providing holistic care, alongside other health care professionals to support individuals in their recovery from substance misuse. Please contact Lucy Harrison Lead Nurse for more information lucy.harrison2@cgl.org.uk 07880314197 As directed by management and line managed by the Lead Nurse, the post-holder will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team within Southampton, duties include blood borne virus screening, health and wellbeing assessments, alcohol assessments and alcohol detoxification. You will have excellent engagement skills, be committed to high quality service provision and the active involvement of service users. You will have some training of relevance and or qualifications and desirable experience when it comes to addressing substance misuse issues.
