Job Description
The Role The UK & Ireland Sales Support team are looking to recruit a Permanent Internal Sales Support staff to join their team to help grow and develop the UK, Ireland & Israel Sales operations. The role is designed to not only manage but also grow the Key Accounts which are some of the largest in the Sand & Aggregate market equating to over 5m worth of business a year. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual who can help support our valued key customers and external team. The tasks will involve producing quotations, processing orders, managing the order books and completing general administrative duties. Key Accountabilities in the role are: + Maintain & improve customer communications / relationships + Actively promoting the Weir brand at all given opportunities + Produce accurate quotations + Raise sales orders + Review and update the pricing for key customers for OE and AM in line with Weir policy + Review monthly forecast for key accounts vs orders placed and liaise with operations + Manage the order book providing regular status updates to key accounts + Maintain up to date customer master data in SAP and Salesforce + Comply with the various SOPs for the sales function and identify chances for improvement + Manage & close customer complaints + Resolve any issues that our customers are facing + Update our operating systems accordingly + Minimal travel maybe needed to visit the key customers throughout the year + Deal with all incoming calls from customers + Timely communications with our internal & external team Experience & Skills required: + Experience within a customer focused sales role is essential + Previous experience of working in after-sales would be advantageous + Experience of working well within a team + Computer literate + Experience in SAP is desired but not essential + Previous experience of working with key accounts would be advantageous Key Competencies: + Excellent customer service skills + Strong business acumen + Excellent communicator at all levels + Enthusiastic and friendly + Confident and outgoing + Eager to learn and a good team player ID: 2019-21444 Shift Schedule: Day Manages Others: No External Company Name: The Weir Group PLC External Company URL: www.weirminerals.com Street: Weir Minerals, Halifax Road, Todmorden, West Yorks
