Job Description
What are we looking for? Due to a crucial new project within our organisation, we have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Quality Leader to support our manufacturing site in Motherwell, immediately on an 18-month fixed term contract. As a Quality Leader , you will be responsible for driving site quality, and improvements within the site. Key Responsibilities: * Organize and coordinate incoming inspection. Communicate and make decisions for material and components claim process (logistically and financially) in order to achieve acceptable solution. * Drive QMS system at site to ensure all relevant certification requirements are met. * Have full authority to stop the production in the event of nonconformity and the responsibility for the installation and the withdrawal of the protection measures customer. * Lead the external (Customer) quality performance of the plant continuous improvement by interacting with other departments within Honeywell. * Ensure only correct and functional measurement equipment is used. * Coordinate and supervise (functionally) the Process Quality organization in relation to process improvement and control. * Coordinate and supervise (functionally) the plant Supplier Quality organization in achieving expected results interacting with regional organization. * Manage the plant Quality System and ensure compliance to standards. * Deploy and manage change management on site {engineering changes, change of technologies, transition projects, etc}. Cooperate with PPE teams. * Perform compliance audit to reference standards and develops appropriate action plans. * Process/Product Auditing: supervise the PQ internal auditing activities. * Participate/coordinate activities (including preventive) related to external audits. * Track/Report KPIs defining eventual corrective and/or preventive plans. * Corrective Action Management: ensure an effective CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action) management. * Assure SOS is in compliance to Control plan. * P-FMEA: interact to process FMEA leaders, driving the RPN reduction. * Ensure systematic implementation of the PPAP requirements (and/or Customer's specifics). * Product Improvement: cooperate with Engineering, Product quality about critical aspects/parameters related to the product. * Ensure Customer Specific Requirement are cascaded to the concerned functions. * Is responsible for following the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations. * Engage employees to improve department/area processes and performance. * Lead and complete the Performance & Development Summaries (PDS), Compensation planning (GCP), Performance&Compensation discussions, Mid Year assessment, goals.
